Job summary

HealthRIGHT 360, a nonprofit organization, seeks an Intake Coordinator I to perform initial assessments, ASAM assessments, and urgent referrals to medical and mental health needs. You will work with the intake team to provide a warm handoff to the treatment team and help stabilize new clients for appropriate levels of care.

The role involves collaborating with Counselors, Case Managers, Therapists, and other team members to coordinate client issues, provide counseling, psychoeducation, relapse

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Registration or Certification as a Substance Use Disorder Counselor from a CA agency required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial intake assessment and determine medical necessity.
• Coordinate with treatment team to stabilize new clients and ensure admission criteria are met.
• Provide case management services (housing, employment, finances, court reports).
• Identify and implement relapse prevention or harm reduction interventions.
• Provide group, family, and individual counseling.
• Facilitate group sessions focused on recovery and co-occurring issues.
• Routinely review treatment plans.
