The Cigna Group, within CarepathRx and Evernorth Health Services, seeks an Intake Care Representative to handle patient and provider communications and guide referrals through intake. You will support onboarding, document handling, and coordination with care teams to ensure timely access to infusion and home health services.

The role requires healthcare exposure, strong communication, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year healthcare/medical office or related experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong organizational skills and commitment to customer service.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, providers, hospitals, and referral partners.
• Help patients understand next steps and gather required information.
• Coordinate home health services based on patient needs, location, and insurance requirements.
• Verify patient treatment timelines and scheduling needs.
• Upload and maintain patient records in the medical record system.
• Collaborate with intake coordinators and nurses to move referrals efficiently.
• Communicate referral updates to prevent delays in care.
