Job summary

The Cigna Group is seeking an Intake Care Representative for Evernorth (Infusion/Enteral) through CarepathRx. You will be the first point of contact for patients, providers, hospitals, and referral partners, guiding them through the referral and intake process to ensure accurate information is collected.

Responsibilities include coordinating with care teams, onboarding patients, and maintaining confidential medical records while delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of healthcare or related experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for patients and providers during intake.
• Gather and verify referral information for accurate entry.
• Coordinate with care teams to support timely onboarding.
• Handle inbound/outbound communications with healthcare partners.
• Maintain patient records in the medical system.
• Support administrative tasks and documentation distribution.
• Collaborate with Intake Coordinators and nurses to move referrals forward.
• Ensure confidentiality of patient information.
