AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a Home Health Billing/Referral Coordinator to manage intake from hospitals and physician offices, verify licenses and Medicare eligibility, and coordinate care with clinical teams. You will enter referrals, support billing, and supervise clerical staff in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires high school diploma (associate preferred), strong customer service, and good computer skills.

Formación

• Knowledge of Medicare billing processes and home health regulations.
• Proficient with PC, copier, phone and fax machines.
• Strong multitasking and proactive communication skills.
• Moderate to advanced computer skills and customer focus.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate intake of referrals from hospitals, physicians, and other sources.
• Verify physician licensure and Medicare eligibility for homecare orders.
• Perform care coordination after referral, assess appropriateness and payer coverage.
• Enter referrals into system with complete information and maintain files.
• Collaborate with billing to resolve issues and ensure timely processing.
• Oversee clerical daily operations and supervise staff and workflows.
• Maintain secure patient files and support process improvements.
