Northeast Family Services seeks an Intake and Authorization Specialist to streamline registration and admissions across five MA regions. You will handle calls, gather referrals, verify insurance, and schedule clients with accuracy and empathy.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in intake scheduling, knowledge of insurance benefits and authorizations, and proficiency with EHRs and MS Office. This full-time role requires reliable internet, a laptop/phone, and authorization to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in patient intake and scheduling.
• Working knowledge of insurance benefits and authorizations.
• Prior MA Medicaid experience preferred.
• Proficient computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Records (EHR).
• Access to high speed secure internet for Full Time positions.
• Access to a laptop or CPS, high speed secure internet, and a phone required for FFS position.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities
