Job summary

Ashley Addiction Treatment seeks an Intake Associate to join the Intake Team. You will be the first contact for new patients, perform admissions assessments, verify criteria for admission, and guide clients through the intake process with compassion. Strong communication and computer skills are essential.

Role includes entering data into EMR, managing inquiries, understanding insurance processes, and obtaining necessary consents for admission. We value mission alignment and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience or AA with 3 years' experience; typing and computer skills preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including telephone skills.
• Knowledge of the Twelve Step Program.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first contact for new patients entering the community.
• Conduct admissions assessments for prospective clients.
• Verify clinical and financial criteria for admission.
• Maintain knowledge of services and guide intake process engagingly.
• Enter client information into the EMR and manage inquiry database.
• Explain insurance quotes and complete pre-certifications.
• Explain all consents needed for admission.
