Archstone Behavioral Health is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to be the first point of contact for individuals seeking treatment, guiding them through admissions with empathy and urgency. You will verify insurance, conduct pre-screenings, and coordinate with clinical teams to secure timely admissions.

The role requires 1+ year in substance use disorder and admissions experience, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in substance use disorder (required).
• 1+ year experience in admissions, intake, or sales (preferred).
• Strong phone presence and communication skills.
• Ability to build trust and rapport quickly with clients and families.
• Comfortable discussing insurance, finances, and payment options.
• Experience handling objections and guiding decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound calls and inquiries from prospective clients and families.
• Conduct admissions pre-screenings and gather clinical information.
• Verify insurance benefits and explain coverage or private pay options.
• Coordinate with clinical and medical teams for approvals.
• Address objections and support clients in making treatment decisions.
• Arrange transportation and facilitate smooth admissions.
• Identify medical or clinical red flags and elevate as needed.
• Accurately document all client interactions in the system.
• Follow up consistently with leads and active clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless admissions experience.
