The Salvation Army Midtown Services and Treatment Center in St. Louis, MO is hiring a full-time Treatment Support Specialist to monitor detox, residential, and outpatient programs.

You will assist clients with therapeutic goals and perform associate counselor duties in a safe, supportive environment. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, one year of experience, confidentiality, and the ability to work with diverse clients.

Qualifications

• Hire requires a high school diploma or equivalent and one year of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client evaluation interviews and develop treatment plans.
• Perform breathalyzer and urinalysis testing.
• Orient clients upon admission into the program.
• Conduct financial screenings and accept clients per policy.
• Answer phones and screen or refer to Intake Coordinator.
• Counsel detox clients about treatment options and referrals.
• Refer eligible clients to Medication Assisted Treatment in consultation with ACS/Counselor.
• Conduct group counseling activities; lead group education sessions.
• Lead sessions for Residential, Outpatient, and Family Support per ACS.
