Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s preferred in related field.
• Experience in healthcare admissions is preferred, especially mental health or SUD.
• Strong communication, assessment, and interview abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conducts pre-admission assessments with clients and families.
• Interviews clients, families, and collateral sources to confirm intake criteria.
• Reviews admissions against criteria, policies, and procedures.
• Coordinates discussions with referral sources for client support and development.
• Responds to needs of referred clients and coordinates resources.
• Assesses family needs for mediation and intervention and contacts appropriate professionals.
• Determines which Interventionist and facility, dates, and travel.
• Works with internal departments and external parties to ensure timely admissions.
• Documents all activities in the CRM system and maintains admissions paperwork.
• Verifies insurance benefits for private admissions and coordinates transportation.
• Screens referrals and maintains a waiting list to facilitate admissions.
