The role coordinates communication between clients, clinical staff, and administrative teams, ensures accurate documentation, verifies eligibility, and maintains secure electronic records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s preferred in a related field.
• Minimum 2 years in healthcare admissions, intake coordination, or behavioral health.
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Experience with EHR and administrative systems.
• Bilingual candidates encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first contact for prospective clients and families.
• Screen, schedule, and coordinate intake assessments.
• Verify insurance eligibility and assist with authorizations.
• Maintain accurate client records in EHR and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with clinical, billing, and staff to support admissions.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the intake process.
