NWU in Grand Rapids, MI is offering a Bachelor’s level internship focused on front desk operations at the Bouma Counseling Center. You will screen calls, enter client data, schedule intakes, and assist with cancellations while supporting clients through check-in and payments.

The role emphasizes supervision, team collaboration, and adherence to Sanctuary commitments. A related Bachelor's degree track and faith alignment are preferred.

Formación

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Social Work, Psychology, or Criminal Justice.
• Prior experience in a human service agency is preferred.
• Subscription to the Statement of Faith of Wedgwood Christian Services and agreement with the agency's goals and objectives.

Responsabilidades

• Answering the Centralized Scheduling phone line and screening inquiries.
• Entering client data into the WeCare EMR system.
• Scheduling intake appointments for new clients and assisting with cancellations and rescheduling.
• Greeting clients and visitors at the Bouma Counseling Center front desk.
• Supporting clients through check-in, updating demographics, collecting payments, and obtaining signatures.
• Maintaining clinician caseloads and referrals in the follow-up queue.
• Responding to internal and external communications and requests.
• Assisting with data entry, monitoring faxes, and processing mail.
• Completing administrative duties such as preparing treatment and marketing materials.
• Conducting chart reviews and sending routine letters to clients.
• Participating in supervision and team meetings for planning.
• Maintaining regular and reliable attendance during assigned hours.
