Job summary

Texas Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a full-time Insurance Territory Manager based in Austin with a wide South Texas territory. The role focuses on managing agency relationships, evaluating performance, and driving business through strategic planning and market analysis.

You will collaborate with underwriters, analysts, and management to address pricing or service challenges and to pursue new business opportunities while supporting education on products and services offered by the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education required.
• At least two years of related experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Willingness to travel within-state for field-based responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison to develop agency business plans and evaluate performance.
• Monitor the insurance market, forecast trends, and report market intelligence.
• Collaborate with underwriting and management on strategic and operational agent/broker plans.
• Analyze agency P&L to identify issues and drive improvements; recommend tier changes.
• Produce a pipeline of submissions to support underwriting in new business.
• Provide product training and education to internal and external stakeholders.
