Independent Insurance Services Agency, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Insurance Service Associate to join our Troy, MI team. This remote-capable, part-time role focuses on delivering exceptional client service and maintaining accurate policy records.

You will manage renewals, changes, billing questions, and coverage inquiries while fostering lasting relationships. You will work with experienced colleagues to educate clients on coverage options, discounts, and policy enhancements, with opportunities

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License is required.
• 3+ years of experience servicing commercial lines policies.
• Strong knowledge of insurance products and policy servicing.

What You'll Do

As an Insurance Service Associate, you'll be the trusted point of contact for our existing clients, ensuring they receive exceptional service while helping them maintain the right coverage for their evolving needs.

Responsibilities

• Marketing accounts


• Assist clients with policy changes, renewals, billing questions, claims support, and coverage inquiries.


• Deliver outstanding customer service by phone, email, and in person.


• Conduct proactive policy reviews to ensure customers have the appropriate protection.


• Educate clients on available coverage options, discounts, and policy enhancements.


• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and account rounding while maintaining a service-first approach.


• Build strong, long-term relationships that promote customer retention and loyalty.


• Process policy updates accurately and maintain organized client records.


• Collaborate with agency team members to provide an exceptional customer experience.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License.


• Previous insurance agency experience required (the more experience, the better!)


• Experience servicing commercial lines insurance policies (3+ years).


• Strong understanding of insurance products, coverages, and policy servicing.
