Qualifications

• Experience with insurance verification and medical billing is required.
• Ability to explain complex insurance concepts with empathy and clarity.
• Detail-oriented; a single digit error in an insurance ID can cost thousands.
• Experience as Medical Receptionist/Administrative Assistant or in a medical office customer service role.
• Tech-savvy with medical billing software and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance coverage before services to prevent denials and maximize revenue.
• Explain costs, billing processes, and insurance complexities to patients clearly.
• Identify and resolve insurance discrepancies and billing issues proactively.
• Deliver exceptional service during financial conversations while handling payments.
• Greet patients warmly and manage front desk flow including check-ins and scheduling.
