Job summary

Farmers Insurance Agency is seeking an Agent In Training to launch a career from top producer toward leadership. You will work with Cole Jannusch and learn agency operations while selling core insurance products to warm leads.

You’ll receive hands-on mentorship, training in recruiting, staffing, and growth strategies, and a clear path to managing your own Farmers agency in the future.

Qualifications

• Proven Sales Ability: experience in sales, customer service, or business development preferred insurance background a plus.
• Ambitious & competitive mindset with goal-driven performance.
• Coachability: open to feedback, training, and new systems.
• Licensing: must hold or be willing to obtain Property & Casualty license (Life & Health a plus).

Responsibilities

• Drive New Business Production: Sell core insurance products including Auto, Home, Renters, and Life.
• Work High-Intent Leads: Handle warm inbound inquiries and referrals, no door knocking or cold calls.
• Consultative Selling: Identify client needs, educate on coverage options, deliver tailored solutions.
• Cross-Sell Opportunities: Leverage existing policies to expand into multi-line coverage.
• Operational Training: Learn all aspects of running an agency from planning, staffing, to marketing and compliance.
• Client Relationship Management: Build strong, lasting relationships through regular policy reviews and service.
