Farmers District 40 in Fremont, MI, invites you to join as an Agent Trainee in our insurance sales and agency development program. This full-time role offers hands-on training alongside a top-performing Farmers Insurance agent, developing your sales techniques and understanding agency operations.

You will build a personal pipeline, conduct outbound calls, quote and sell insurance, and collaborate on marketing, budgeting, and profitability planning while pursuing the required Property & Casualty

Qualifications

• Previous sales, customer service, or management experience preferred.
• Willing to obtain a Property & Casualty license.
• Outgoing, goal-driven and comfortable in a performance-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Generate and follow up on leads; build your own pipeline.
• Conduct outbound calls and engage potential customers.
• Quote, sell, and cross-sell insurance products to new and existing clients.
• Build referral relationships and seek new sales opportunities.
• Meet and exceed sales targets and goals.
• Support marketing, lead generation, and customer retention initiatives.
• Participate in financial management, budgeting, and profitability planning.
• Understand technology systems, compliance, and risk management within an agency setting.
