Job summary

Farmers District 40 & 94 is seeking an Agent in Training to join our team in Ann Arbor, MI. This role focuses on learning the insurance business while selling Auto, Home, Life, and Business Insurance to new and existing clients.

You’ll receive mentorship, access to agency-purchased leads, and marketing support as you work toward personal and agency sales goals. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no evenings or weekends and uncapped earning potential through base pay plus

Qualifications

• No prior insurance experience required; training provided.
• Active license in Property & Casualty and Life & Health being pursued is acceptable.
• License required for the position; willingness to obtain licenses is needed.

Responsibilities

• Quote and sell Auto, Home, Life, and Business Insurance.
• Identify client needs and coverage gaps.
• Generate new business through leads, referrals, and networking.
• Follow up with prospects and manage the sales pipeline.
• Cross-sell and build long-term client relationships.
• Work toward agency sales goals and participate in coaching.
• Learn the sales, operations, and business side of running an agency.
• Develop understanding of how to run a successful insurance agency.
