Job summary

AAA The Auto Club Group in Wilmington, NC seeks a full‑time Sales Specialist to build relationships and grow the insurance and financial product portfolio in our busy branch. You’ll earn base pay plus incentives and comprehensive benefits, with ramp‑up income support during the first months as you establish your pipeline and client book.

You’ll conduct insurance reviews, quote and bind policies, and develop a robust referral network through local events and community engagement while meeting

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license is required.
• Active Life and Health license or obtain within 90 days.
• Must qualify and maintain state licenses and appointments for membership products.
• Health and Accident licenses may be required as deemed necessary.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ year of customer-facing experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the sale and ongoing service of insurance, memberships, and financial products.
• Conduct insurance reviews to assess risk and identify coverage gaps.
• Quote, bind, and issue policies following underwriting guidelines.
• Build rapport with members and respond to inquiries with urgency.
• Prospect and develop referral opportunities through local events and networking.
