AAA The Auto Club Group in Durham, NC is seeking a full-time, external sales professional to build a client base through relationship selling of insurance and financial products. Base pay plus incentives and full benefits, with a structured ramp-up incentive to help you grow your pipeline.

The role emphasizes proactive outreach, strong follow-up, and community engagement to drive revenue and member value. Licensing across P&C, Life, and Health is required or pursued after hire.

Qualifications

• Active State Property & Casualty Insurance Sales license
• Active State Life and Health Insurance Sales license, or obtain within 90 days of hire
• Maintain all applicable state licenses and appointments for selling Auto Club Group membership products
• Health and Accident licenses/appointments as deemed necessary
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of customer-facing experience in a fast-paced computer automated environment

Responsibilities

• Own the sale and ongoing service of ACG‑branded and brokered insurance products, memberships, and financial products.
• Conduct insurance reviews to assess risk, identify coverage gaps, and quote, bind, and issue policies.
• Build and maintain strong rapport with members and clients, respond to inquiries professionally, and support customer satisfaction with the AAA brand.
• Prospect at local branch and community events to expand referrals and identify cross-sell opportunities into Travel and Financial Services.
