Job summary

AAA-The Auto Club Group is hiring a full-time Insurance Sales Specialist in Traverse City, MI. You will own the sale and service of insurance products, memberships, and financial solutions within a busy branch, building trust and delivering tailored coverage to members and clients.

You will prospect, network, and refer opportunities, expanding the client base while meeting performance targets. Training is provided to support licensing and career growth in a dynamic, community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty Insurance license required or obtain within 90 days.
• Active Life and Health Insurance license, or obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Must qualify for and maintain all required state licenses/appointments for sales.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of customer-facing experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Insurance experience is helpful but not required.
• We provide training to help you get licensed and confident in the role.

Responsibilities

• Own sale and ongoing service of insurance, memberships, and financial products.
• Uncover customer needs, generate new business, retain clients, and meet targets.
• Conduct insurance reviews to identify gaps and recommend solutions.
• Quote, bind, and issue policies per underwriting guidelines.
• Build rapport, respond to inquiries with urgency, and ensure customer satisfaction.
