Job summary

AAA Auto Club Enterprises in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a Sales/Retention specialist to improve insurance retention results. The role focuses on mediating cancellations, retaining members, and providing cross-sell opportunities across Auto and Home insurance products.

You will work with various departments to resolve issues, handle inbound inquiries, and leverage knowledge of policies to protect relationships with members. 1-3 years of insurance sales experience and a CA P&C license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• 1-3 years insurance sales preferred.
• Professional communication skills required, both written and oral.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word and Excel required.
• Property and Casualty Insurance License, valid in selling state - Issued by State Required.

Responsibilities

• Mediate insured’s cancellation requests/inquiries via telephone and/or internet; identify solutions to avoid policy cancellations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance products, features and benefits.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities based on members’ product needs and service requests.
• Collaborate with internal departments or external sources to resolve issues.
• Handle inbound Auto and Home insurance calls related to member requests and inquiries.
• Retain insurance business and manage conflicts or escalation with supervisor.
