TEKsystems in Hartford, CT is seeking an Insurance Associate to support a high-volume project related to homeowners insurance policies in New York. You will review policyholder documentation, update policy records, and assist customers, processing premium credits or refunds for wind mitigation improvements.

This contract role requires accuracy, strong Excel skills for basic calculations, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service or call center experience preferred.
• Insurance industry experience is a plus, but not required for an entry-level candidate.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately review documents and enter information.
• Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas and spreadsheet calculations.
• Strong verbal communication skills and confidence speaking with customers by phone.
• Ability to follow established processes and insurance procedures.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Comfortable working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.

Overview

Our client is seeking an Insurance Associate to support a high-volume project related to homeowners insurance policies in New York. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Hartford, CT.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
