Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Contract-based Claims Quality Control specialist to evaluate CWCOT and government claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HUD and client guidelines. This fully remote role is based out of Albion, NY, with compensation in the range of $25.00-$32.00 per hour.

The ideal candidate will perform day-to-day administrative tasks, enter data, review documentation for completeness, and act as a liaison between processing and quality control teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in FHA default claims quality control and CWCOT processes.
• Ability to review government claims per HUD guidelines and client requirements.
• Strong quality assurance and risk management capabilities.
• Proven ability to meet goals, handle high workload, and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate CWCOT claims for accuracy prior to HUD submission.
• Review claims and related documents for completeness and compliance.
• Maintain data entry and documentation in written or electronic form.
• Serve as point of contact for processors and liaise between processing and QC teams.

Description

• Evaluate CWCOT claims for accuracy prior to submitting them to HUD.
• Review government claims in accordance with HUD and client guidelines
• Review claims and or related documents and review for completeness
• File claims in accordance with HUD and client guidelines and procedures
• Identify losses and complete research
• Observe, receive, and otherwise obtain information from all relevant sources
• Using computers and computer systems to enter data and process information
• Enter and maintain information in written or electronic form
• Perform day to day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork
• Use relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether claims comply with laws, regulations, or standards
• Comply with federal, state, company policies, procedures, and regulations
• Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with clients and other employees, and maintaining them over time
• Process or perform Quality Control review of supplemental claims when warranted
• Be point of contact for processors on team, answering questions in regards to claims
• Manage and review quality control corrections
• Liaison between processing and quality control to create positive communication
• HUD audit preparations
• Various projects as assigned by management
• Provide information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, written communication, and/or in person

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.

The individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
