Job summary

Group 1001 seeks an Operations Performance Analyst to partner with Inforce and Claims leadership, improving efficiency and accuracy across the annuity lifecycle. This role identifies process issues, quantifies root causes, and helps implement changes in line with contracts, compliance, and risk controls.

You will collaborate across Operations, Product, Technology, Legal, Tax, and Audit, building reports, forecasting volume, and supporting readiness for regulatory changes while sustaining

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience analyzing operations performance and metrics in financial services.
• 3 years experience using Microsoft Access building and maintaining databases, queries, and reports.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups and complex formulas and data modeling using Power BI is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and experience turning large amounts of operational data into clear conclusions and recommendations.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Business, Finance or Insurance or equivalent experience.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills are critical in working with data teams and business operations.

Responsibilities

• Own the operations performance reporting cadence to leadership and stakeholders.
• Build queries and reports in Access and SQL, and create Excel models and Power BI analyses.
• Pull data from policy administration systems, workflow tools, quality systems and dashboards for a complete view of performance.
• Analyze performance trends and variances; explain drivers of cycle time, backlog, accuracy, and NIGO rates.
• Turn leadership questions into structured analysis and present findings with recommendations.
• Support volume forecasting and capacity planning with staffing metrics.
