Job summary

Obie is seeking an Insurance Program Analyst to help build, manage, and optimize our insurance programs. You will analyze product performance, support expansion initiatives, and translate insights into actions that drive profitable growth.

Reporting to the Head of Rev Ops and Analytics, you’ll work at the intersection of insurance, analytics, technology, and business strategy. This role emphasizes data-driven decision making and ownership across initiatives.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of analytics, insurance, underwriting, product, or related experience.
• Strong preference for experience with surplus lines insurance.
• Understanding of insurance product principles and portfolio performance.
• Interest in using data to solve business problems and drive profitable growth.

Responsibilities

• Analyze product and portfolio performance to identify trends and opportunities.
• Support product managers with rate revisions, expansion, and development.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis across products and states.
• Translate portfolio performance into clear recommendations.
• Build and maintain dashboards and BI tools using Sigma.
• Develop metrics to measure efficiency and outcomes for the Insurance Programs team.
• Perform data quality checks to ensure reliable decision making.
