Job summary

Plymouth Rock Assurance is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to analyze operational workflows and profitability, supporting data, metrics, and dashboards across underwriting, sales and claims processes in Port Reading, NJ.

The role involves building automated reporting, collaborating with data teams on ETL, and delivering insights to management to improve profitability and channel effectiveness within the Direct Group.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in quantitative field with strong analytical skills.
• Experience with insurance domain concepts is a plus.
• Excellent problem solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Works with teams to understand financial P&Ls, expense ratios, rate level indications, loss ratio trends and marketing funnel metrics.
• Identify reporting solutions and upgrade reports to improve efficiency and presentation.
• Collaborate with analytical teams to review insights and communicate results to management.
• Utilize data from Production Data Warehouse and support ETL processes.
• Build automated reports and analytical tools for multi-level analysis.
• Act as liaison between BI and other departments within the Direct Group.
