Job summary

The Hilb Group seeks an Early Career Development Program Associate in Cranston, RI. This six-month, structured program trains early-career professionals in insurance operations, systems, and client service while supporting multiple departments under supervision.

Participants complete licensing coursework, gain exposure to employee benefits operations, and collaborate with experienced teammates to prepare for a client-facing or support role after completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or in progress.
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in onboarding covering insurance fundamentals and workflows.
• Complete licensing coursework and online Insurance 101 curriculum.
• Support daily operations using agency management systems and MS Office.
• Assist service teams with administrative tasks and data entry.
• Shadow producers, account managers, and service teams to learn client service best practices.
• Support policy processing, endorsements, certificates, and related activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams on projects and workflow execution.
• Attend carrier presentations and training sessions.
