Job summary

The Hilb Group, Cranston, RI is seeking a Senior Account Manager to join our in-office team. You will independently manage a book of business, handle client inquiries on coverages and changes, process billing and endorsements, and coordinate with carriers to secure favorable renewals.

The ideal candidate is licensed in insurance, has prior account management experience (preferably in benefits), and holds a high school diploma or bachelor’s degree with strong time-management skills.

Qualifications

• Insurance licensed.
• Previous experience as an Account Manager, preferably benefits.
• High school or bachelor's degree required.
• Excellent time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage an assigned book of business as primary client relationship manager.
• Handle inquiries regarding coverages, policy changes and general questions.
• Process billing, service and endorsement requests and paperwork.
• Act as liaison between customer and carrier to ensure mutual benefit.
• Handle renewal/expiration list and negotiate renewal pricing when needed.
