Job summary

Ernst & Young U.S. LLP in Charlotte, NC, seeks an IT Analyst for Technology Consulting, Alliances and Platforms, focusing on Policy/Billing - Configuration.

You’ll analyze business requirements, align them with technology architecture, and help design and implement insurance IT solutions including BI, integration, and infrastructure upgrades. Lead and motivate diverse teams, maintain long-term client relationships, and contribute to sales opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Industrial Administration, Business, or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience defining business and technical requirements.
• Must have 3 years of experience working at or advising a property and casualty insurance carrier.
• Must have 2 years of experience with object-oriented programming and SQL.
• Must have 2 years of experience managing and supervising a team of technology advisors through all phases of the technology life cycle.
• Must have 3 years of experience researching client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies.
• Must have 3 years of experience in Agile development methodology.
• Must have 3 years of experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Must have 3 years of experience with all of the following: Definition of technical requirements; System configuration; IT process reengineering.

Responsibilities

• Provide technology consulting services to insurance clients and analyze business requirements for alignment with technology architecture.
• Oversee the implementation of Insurance BI IT solutions, including upgrades, mobility, and integration.
• Lead services for sourcing IT vendors, systems integration, and performance management IT solutions for planning and forecasting, analytics, and management reporting.
• Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds and maintain long-term client relationships.
