Job summary

EY is seeking a seasoned Insurance Technology Consultant to help transform client business problems into technology solutions, focusing on claims, underwriting, policy and billing transformations. You will work with major insurers and financial services clients, guiding architecture and data initiatives across delivery teams.

The role requires strong technical and communication skills, with travel to client sites as needed, and offers a comprehensive benefits package in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology or a related field, with 5+ years of relevant work experience at a Property and Casualty Insurance carrier or consulting firm; or a master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology or a related field with 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in system selection and implementation, definition of business and technical requirements, design of architecture, and data mapping.
• Experience delivering system implementation across project life cycle including requirements, architecture, conversion, and testing.
• Experience implementing software engineering best practices, code reviews, and deployment tooling.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with clients to transform business problems into technology solutions to improve efficiency and risk management.
• Assist engagement teams with analysis of business requirements for alignment with technology architecture and implementation plans.
• Support vendor selection and technology integration efforts across projects.
• Provide subject-matter expertise in insurance technology, architecture design, and data architecture.
• Collaborate with diverse teams to foster an innovative and inclusive work environment.
