• Perform account research via phone and payor websites to obtain payment status.
• Verify and update insurance and demographic information to resolve payment barriers.
• Follow up with payors and monitor claim status throughout payment process.
• Appeal denials when needed and determine appropriate escalation.
• Maintain knowledge of payor guidelines to ensure proper reimbursement.
• Identify trends and report system issues and improvement opportunities.
