Job summary

gpac is partnering with a growing independent insurance agency to hire a Customer Service Representative in Fresno, California. The role focuses on policy servicing, account maintenance, and day-to-day insurance needs while building strong relationships with clients in a fast-paced team setting.

Ideal candidates have prior customer service or administrative experience, strong communication, and organization.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or administrative experience required.
• Insurance agency experience preferred but not required.
• Property & Casualty license preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and agency management systems.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with policy changes, renewals, billing questions, certificates, and coverage inquiries.
• Process endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, and policy updates accurately and efficiently.
• Handle inbound calls, emails, and customer requests in a professional and timely manner.
• Support Account Managers and Producers with administrative and service-related tasks.
• Review policies and documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain detailed and organized client records within the agency management system.
• Communicate with insurance carriers regarding underwriting, policy servicing, and follow-up items.
• Help ensure excellent customer retention through responsive service and relationship-building.
