Job summary

American Family Insurance in Boston seeks an experienced service professional to be the first point of contact for calls, emails, and chats, handling quotes, policy information, and billing. You will support agents with carrier information and assist with quotes and policy processing.

The role requires solid knowledge of insurance procedures, proficiency in PC software including Excel, and strong written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience delivering customer-driven solutions or service.
• Solid knowledge of PC software applications (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel).
• Understanding of insurance or brokerage customer service or policy processing.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first contact for quoting, service issues, policies, and billing information.
• Assist agents with carrier information and processes.
• Prepare coverage and premium financing quotes and process policy information.
• Process policy information including issuance of certificates with accuracy.
• Order inspections as requested.
• Escalate complex issues to subject matter experts.
