Job summary

Wilson Elser Denver is seeking an Insurance Coverage/Insurance Litigation Associate to join a nationally recognized firm. The position offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement, with remote options, and a culture that emphasizes collaboration, mentorship, and client service across Colorado and the US.

You will work with experienced coverage/coverage litigation attorneys on matters involving various insurance lines, draft pleadings and coverage opinions, handle hearings and depositions, and

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in Colorado.
• At least 3 years of defense litigation.
• 1+ years of coverage/coverage litigation experience.
• Experience drafting coverage opinions across insurance lines.
• Experience in third-party or first-party claims.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Collaborate across departments and offices, contributing to a cohesive team.
• Investigate claims and draft coverage opinion letters.
• In coverage matters, draft pleadings and handle discovery.
• Provide clients with insurance coverage advice.
• Communicate with clients and provide status reports.
