Job summary

Wilson Elser invites applications for an Insurance Coverage/Insurance Litigation Attorney in our Las Vegas office. The role is designed for lawyers with substantial coverage/coverage litigation experience, working within a collaborative, national firm.

The position offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement, with potential remote work from anywhere in Nevada based on level and business needs. Candidates should have a Nevada JD and bar admission, plus at least five years in coverage litigation.

Qualifications

JD from an accredited law school
Admitted to practice in the State of Nevada
5+ years coverage/coverage litigation experience
Experience in insurance coverage including drafting coverage opinions in one or more insurance lines (CGL, property, professional liability, cyber, IP, etc.)
Experience in either or both third‑party and first‑party claims
Coverage analysis and writing experience
Superior analytical skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

Work closely with other attorneys and Partners on insurance coverage/coverage litigation matters
Investigate claims and draft coverage opinion letters
In coverage litigation matters, draft pleadings, motions, and handle discovery
Provide clients with insurance coverage advice on a variety of subjects
Communicate with clients and draft reports to clients
