Job summary

Wilson Elser is seeking an Insurance Coverage/Insurance Litigation Attorney in our Las Vegas office. This role focuses on handling complex coverage matters for domestic and foreign insurers, with a collaborative team of experienced attorneys.

The ideal candidate will have a JD, Nevada bar admission, and 5+ years of coverage/coverage litigation experience, plus strong writing and analytical skills. A hybrid work arrangement is available with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years coverage/coverage litigation experience.
• Experience drafting coverage opinions in one or more insurance lines (CGL, property, professional liability, cyber, IP, etc).
• Experience in either third-party or first-party claims.
• Superior analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with other attorneys and Partners on insurance coverage matters.
• Investigate claims and draft coverage opinion letters.
• In coverage litigation, draft pleadings, motions, and handle discovery.
• Provide clients with insurance coverage advice on a variety of subjects.
• Communicate with clients and draft reports to clients.
