Job summary

Wilson Elser seeks an Insurance Coverage/Insurance Litigation Attorney in Las Vegas to work with a collaborative team on coverage matters across Nevada and the U.S., including advising insurers and drafting opinions.

Ideal candidate has a JD, Nevada admission, 5+ years of coverage/coverage litigation experience, and strong analytical and communication skills. Hybrid work arrangement offered with potential remote options within Nevada.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in the State of Nevada.
• 5+ years coverage/coverage litigation experience.
• Experience in drafting coverage opinions across insurance lines (CGL, property, professional liability, cyber, IP, etc.).
• Experience in third-party and first-party claims.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with other attorneys and Partners on insurance coverage/coverage litigation matters.
• Investigate claims and draft coverage opinion letters.
• In coverage litigation matters, draft pleadings, motions, and handle discovery.
• Provide clients with insurance coverage advice on a variety of subjects.
• Communicate with clients and draft reports to clients.
