Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group seeks an Associate Attorney to join its Insurance Coverage Practice in a hybrid Miami, FL setting. The Litigation Associate will handle complex coverage matters for domestic and international insurers, spanning CGL, commercial property, E&O, and D&O disputes within a global platform.

Qualifications

• JD from ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic record.
• Law Review and/or Honors preferred.
• Active Florida Bar in good standing.
• 2–4 years of substantive litigation experience focused on insurance coverage.
• Experience analyzing complex insurance policies.
• Ability to provide coverage recommendations in clear terms.
• Experience drafting litigation documents and participating in depositions/mediations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance policies and draft detailed coverage opinions.
• Provide clear and actionable coverage recommendations for clients.
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw, Lexis, and other research tools.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Draft interrogatories, document requests, and responses.
• Review and analyze document collections in preparation for litigation.
• Engage with domestic and international insurers directly.
• Collaborate with partners and teams to advance case objectives.
