Job summary

Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking a skilled Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Insurance Coverage Practice Group in Miami, FL. The role focuses on complex coverage disputes for domestic and international insurers, with hybrid work options.

The ideal candidate has a JD from an ABA-accredited law school, Florida bar admission, 2–4 years of litigation experience focusing on insurance coverage, and strong research and writing skills.

Qualifications

• Must have JD from ABA-accredited law school with excellent academics, Law Review or Honors preferred.
• Active Florida Bar admission in good standing.
• 2–4 years of substantive litigation experience focusing on insurance coverage matters.
• Experience analyzing complex insurance policies and providing clear coverage recommendations.
• Drafting litigation documents and participating in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.

Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance policies and draft detailed coverage opinions.
• Provide clear and actionable coverage recommendations for clients.
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw, Lexis, and other tools.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Draft interrogatories, document requests, and responses.
• Review and analyze document collections in preparation for litigation.
• Engage in direct communication with domestic and international insurers.
• Collaborate with partners to advance case objectives.
