Qualifications
- JD from ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic record
- Law Review and/or Honors
- Active Bar Admission in Florida in good standing
- 2–4 years of substantive litigation experience focusing on insurance coverage
- Experience analyzing complex insurance policies
- Ability to provide clear coverage recommendations
- Experience drafting litigation-related documents
- Experience participating in depositions and mediations
- Familiarity with bad faith, CGL, commercial property, E&O, and D&O
- Exceptional legal research and writing skills
Responsibilities
- Analyze insurance policies and draft coverage opinions
- Provide clear and actionable coverage recommendations for clients
- Conduct legal research using Westlaw, Lexis, and other tools
- Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials
- Draft interrogatories, document requests, and responses
- Review and analyze document collections for litigation
- Engage in direct communication with domestic and international insurers
- Collaborate with partners to advance case objectives with efficiency
