Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group seeks an Insurance Coverage Attorney – Litigation (CA) in Los Angeles, hybrid. The role sits in the Insurance Coverage Practice Group handling complex coverage litigation and market conduct matters for insurers, including CGL, property, E&O, and D&O matters.

Ideal candidate has a JD from an ABA-accredited school, active CA bar, and 3+ years of civil litigation experience, with strong research, writing, and advocacy skills.

Qualifications

• JD from ABA-accredited law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active California Bar in good standing.
• 3+ years of substantive Civil litigation experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance policies and draft detailed coverage opinions, recommendations, and advice for insurer clients.
• Provide clear and actionable coverage recommendations for clients.
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw, Lexis, and other research tools.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and other litigation proceedings.
• Draft and review pleadings, briefs, motions, discovery requests and responses, legal correspondence, and other litigation documents.
• Review and analyze document collections in preparation for litigation.
• Engage in direct communication with domestic and international insurers.
• Collaborate with partners and team members to advance case objectives with efficiency and precision.
