Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks a mid-level Insurance Coverage Associate to join its Seattle office or work remotely. The attorney will advise insurers on complex coverage issues arising from emerging risks, including social media, AI, PFAS, privacy claims, and unfair competition in online marketplaces, and handle complex litigation in commercial lines liability and excess policies.

The role requires Washington bar admission, strong research and writing abilities, and excellent organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Licensed and in good standing in Washington.
• Experience in insurance coverage or complex commercial litigation.
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on coverage under commercial lines liability and excess insurance policies.
• Conduct legal research, analyze statutes, case law, and draft memoranda and coverage opinions.
• Prepare and analyze pleadings, discovery, and motions.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and mediations.
• Manage matters, deadlines, and client communication proactively.
