Job summary

The Standard, Portland, OR, is seeking a Compliance Analyst to support insurance product compliance by researching regulations, preparing regulatory filings, and responding to DOI inquiries. You will partner with underwriting, claims, marketing, and technology to implement compliant product forms and processes.

Qualified candidates have 3+ years in insurance compliance and a Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Finance, Risk Management, or related field, with strong analytical and written

Qualifications

• Knowledge of individual or group insurance products, including Accident, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity, Disability and/or Life.
• Experience preparing and submitting DOI product and form filings.
• Experience interpreting state insurance regulations and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional business partners.
• Experience supporting product implementation or regulatory change programs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit product and policy form filings to state DOIs.
• Research insurance laws and respond to regulatory objections and inquiries.
• Partner with stakeholders to integrate compliance into products, forms, and processes.
• Support implementation of approved product and form changes.
• Contribute to compliance programs, policies, training, and risk management.
