Job summary

The Standard is seeking a Compliance Analyst to support insurance product compliance by researching regulations, preparing and submitting regulatory filings, and coordinating with underwriting, claims, marketing, and technology teams to ensure products and forms meet state requirements.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in insurance compliance, strong analytical and written communication skills, and the ability to interpret regulatory guidance in a detail-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in insurance compliance or regulatory affairs.
• Knowledge of individual or group insurance products is preferred.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit product and policy form filings to state Departments of Insurance (DOI).
• Research insurance laws and regulations and respond to regulatory objections and inquiries.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance requirements are incorporated into products, forms, and processes.
• Support implementation of approved product and form changes across the organization.
• Contribute to compliance programs, policies, procedures, training, and risk management activities.
