Job summary

The Standard is seeking a Compliance Analyst to safeguard insurance product compliance by researching regulations, preparing and submitting regulatory filings, and responding to insurance department inquiries. You will partner with underwriting, claims, marketing, and technology to ensure products and policy forms meet state requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Finance, Risk Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in insurance compliance or related insurance function.
• Experience researching and interpreting state insurance regulations and regulatory requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit product and policy form filings to state Departments of Insurance (DOI).
• Research insurance laws and regulations and develop responses to regulatory objections and inquiries.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance requirements are incorporated into products, forms, and processes.
• Support implementation of approved product and form changes across the organization.
• Contribute to compliance programs, policies, procedures, training, and risk management activities.
