Job summary

The Standard is seeking a Compliance Analyst to support insurance product compliance by researching regulations, preparing and submitting regulatory filings, and partnering with business teams to implement approved product and policy form changes. The role interfaces with underwriting, claims, marketing and technology to ensure ongoing state compliance of products and forms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in insurance compliance or regulatory affairs.
• Strong ability to interpret state insurance regulations and guidance.
• Experience submitting DOI product and form filings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit product and policy form filings to state Departments of Insurance.
• Research insurance laws and respond to regulatory objections and inquiries.
• Collaborate with underwriting, claims, marketing and technology to ensure compliance.
• Support implementation of approved product and form changes across the organization.
• Contribute to compliance programs, policies, procedures, training and risk management.
