The Juris Agency in Valparaiso is seeking a motivated, customer-focused professional to join our team. You will be a self-starter, critical thinker, and strong communicator who takes ownership of their work and grows within the insurance industry.

This role goes beyond routine service: you will build relationships, help clients understand coverage, identify cross-sell opportunities, and participate in training and career advancement.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required; insurance experience strongly preferred
• Property & Casualty license preferred; willing to license the right candidate

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and take ownership of client needs from start to finish
• Assist with policy changes, billing questions, cancellations, claims-related questions, inspections, and other service needs
• Conduct proactive insurance reviews and help clients understand their coverage
• Deepen relationships with existing clients and uncover additional insurance needs within the household
• Cross-sell appropriate products and work toward individual and agency sales goals
• Onboard new customers and help create a smooth transition into the agency
• Complete timely follow-up and accurately document customer interactions
• Support client retention through proactive communication, problem-solving, and relationship building
