Job summary

The Juris Agency in Washington is seeking a detail-oriented, client-focused Customer Service Associate to support insured clients and agencies. You will handle calls, emails, and requests, learn insurance basics, and grow with the team through training, goal setting, and community involvement.

This is a busy, fast-moving role where ownership, organization, and proactive problem solving are valued. You’ll gain broad experience and contribute to client satisfaction daily.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of recent customer-facing service experience.
• Property & Casualty Insurance License required within 30 days of hire; reimbursement might apply for upfront costs.
• Ability to successfully complete required background checks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable handling a high volume of phone calls and interruptions.
• Able to prioritize independently and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Create a helpful & engaging experience for people calling or visiting our office.
• Answering phone calls and assisting with a range of requests for policy changes, proof of insurance, providing resources, scheduling client or prospect appointments, general questions.
• Process mail, general email and text requests.
• Respond to all requests within the designated turnaround time.
• Diligently document all communications with notes and details.
• Self-manage and proactively solve problems while supporting the VA Team as growth occurs.
• Attend training and development opportunities and help design quarterly goals with management.
