Job summary

Palmer Group is seeking a Client Services Specialist in a hybrid, part-time role in Des Moines, IA. The position focuses on serving as the main client contact, supporting insurance servicing, claims assistance, and marketing initiatives. Training is provided for industry entry or advancement.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 3–5+ years in customer service, with insurance background preferred. Proficiency in CRM and Office 365 is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required.
• 3–5+ years of customer service handling client interactions preferred.
• Insurance industry experience in client services, claims, or underwriting a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for clients, prospects, insurers, lenders, vendors and partners.
• Manage personal lines policy renewals with guidance for appropriate coverage.
• Educate prospects on insurance options and assist with binding new policies.
• Guide clients through the claims process with timely assistance and follow-up.
• Maintain strong client relationships and resolve policy questions and requests.
• Collaborate with carrier representatives, underwriters, and claims professionals.
