Job summary

Holmes Murphy is seeking a Client Service Specialist to join our Property Casualty team in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will prepare certificates, binders, and auto ID cards, and manage invoicing while delivering a world-class client experience.

This role emphasizes accurate processing, collaboration with accounting, and proactive problem solving in a supportive, inclusive culture that values growth and community involvement.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma; college degree preferred.
• Experience: 0–1 year in administrative, customer service, or office work, ideally in insurance.
• Licensing: Active state Property Casualty license or ability to obtain within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Prepares certificates, binders, and auto ID cards.
• Invoices agency bill transactions for new/renewal policies, monthly installments, endorsements, and audits.
• Ensure invoicing accuracy and resolve discrepancies with accounting.
• Order policy changes from carriers, update agency management system/exposure schedules, set follow-ups.
• Investigates and corrects omitted items and commission differences on premium discrepancies.
